Gaudí was not the only architect building in Barcelona's new Eixample at the turn of the 20th century. The city's rich families competed to outdo each other's houses, and two other architects, Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch, were as much in demand. On one block of Passeig de Gràcia stand houses by all three, nicknamed the Block of Discord. This route takes the ones that are not Gaudí's.

  1. Casa Lleó Morera

Domènech i Montaner's corner house of 1906 on the Block of Discord, with a rounded tower and rooms of mosaic and stained glass. Guided visits only.
