Walking routes in Prague
Prague divides at the river and the division is the whole plan: the Old Town on the east bank is flat and dense, the castle side is a hill. Both routes below cross Charles Bridge, one finishing on it and one starting there, and both are ordered so the climb happens once.
Wenceslas Square through the Old Town and Josefov, finishing on the bridge as the light goes.
Over the bridge and up to the castle, west to Strahov, then down through Petřín to the river.
Planning the rest of the trip
These routes cover the walking. The Prague guide has where to stay, what a day costs at each tier, and what to book before you go.
