Lodhi Gardens and the tombs in three hours
Fifteenth-century tombs in a public park, the great garden tomb next door and the street art district.
The six-hour route runs Old Delhi and the Mughal set pieces. This is the quiet half of the city: ninety acres of park with six Lodhi and Sayyid dynasty tombs standing in it, used daily as a park rather than fenced off, plus Delhi's largest outdoor mural collection two streets away. Go early; this is where Delhi walks and does yoga before work.
