Semi-arid climate. October–April is ideal: 18–25°C and dry. December–February can be cold at night (5–10°C) but sunny and clear. March–April brings almond and orange blossoms. May sees the last comfortable heat. June–September is brutal: 40–45°C, little shade in the medina. July and August are genuinely dangerous for outdoor sightseeing without planning. The Atlas Mountains are visible on clear days — snow-capped in winter.
