The three-hour route runs Jaffa to Rothschild. This one is the 20th-century city: Tel Aviv has more International Style buildings than anywhere on earth, about four thousand of them, put up by German-trained architects in the 1930s and UNESCO-listed as the White City. Add the art museum, a Templer colony turned food market, and the old port, and it is a full day on flat ground.
