The Rock and Monte Carlo in three hours
The old town on its outcrop, the aquarium below the palace, and the casino square across the harbour.
Monaco is two square kilometres and vertical, so the walking is short and the stairs are not. This route starts on the Rock, which is the only old part of the country, and crosses the harbour to the Monte Carlo side. Public lifts connect most levels and are free; use them rather than the staircases.
