The medina in three hours
The great square, the mosque that sets the skyline, the souks behind it and the restored madrasa.
The medina is a walled maze and getting lost in it is not optional, so treat the Koutoubia minaret as your compass: it is visible from most of the old city and nothing may be built taller. Agree every price before you accept anything, including directions. The square is a different place at dusk, when the food stalls go up.

Jemaa el-Fnaa
