Trinity College to Temple Bar in six hours
The Book of Kells, Grafton Street and the green, then the castle and the cathedral down to the river.
Dublin's centre is about twenty minutes across and this route loops rather than crosses it, which is the efficient way around a city where the sights are on both sides of one small grid. Trinity first, at opening, because the Book of Kells queue is the only serious one in the city.

Twenty-two acres of Victorian park with a bandstand. The 1916 bullet holes are still in the Fusiliers' Arch at the corner.
