Best time to visit Buenos Aires

The sweet spot is March, April and October — averages 22°C, 8 rainy days, moderate crowds.

March - May, September - November

Temperate climate with hot summers and mild winters. Spring (September-November) and autumn (March-May) are the ideal seasons: 18-24 degrees C, low humidity, and the parks of Palermo in full bloom or turning gold. Summer (December-February) is hot and humid (32-38 degrees C) but Argentina's summer means the country is on holiday - the energy is high. January is when Porteños (Buenos Aires residents) leave for the coast; the city is quieter and restaurants offer summer discounts. Winter (June-August) is mild (8-15 degrees C) - the tango season peaks, the theatres fill, and the opera at the Colon is in full swing. The city has a remarkable cultural calendar year-round.
