The waterfront in three hours
The Sky Tower, the Viaduct, Wynyard Quarter and the ferry terminal at Britomart.
Auckland is built on a harbour and some fifty volcanoes, and the best way to see the first is to walk its waterfront, which the city has spent twenty years reclaiming from wharves and car parks. Start at the tower for the view, then go down to the water.
